Cincinnati Kings Leading Scorer, Headed to the Next Level
Spencer becomes the Kings 2nd player drafted to the MLS
Luke Spencer, forward for the Cincinnati Kings (Men’s PDL Team), became the 2nd Kings player in two years to be picked in the Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft.  Spence, a Cincinnati native, was picked 23rd in the draft by the New England Revolution, who finished the 2012 season 9-17-8.
This past summer, Spencer led the Kings in goals scored and helped the Kings to their 2nd straight winning season.
The New England Revolution also had the first overall selection in the draft, with which they picked up Andrew Farrell, a defender from the University of Louisville. In addition to Spencer, the Revolution also added forward/mid- fielder Donnie Smith of Charlotte and goalkeeper Luis Soffner of Indiana in the second round.
Kings Soccer Academy, Congratulates Luke on a tremendous accomplishment and wishes him Good Luck!
