Elite Keeper Academy, Elite Girls Camp & High School Boys Camp

Elite Keeper Academy

Keeper Academy is the only professionalized keeper camp in the area. The emphasis of this camp is to develop a well-rounded keeper, one that understands the physical as well as the mental aspect of the game. Keepers that attend will learn how to deal with a variety of situations throughout the game.  
Camp Curriculum:
All keepers will learn about the 4 pillars of goalkeeping throughout the week of camp.  The 4 pillars include technical, tactical, mental, and physical pieces of goalkeeping.  In this camp, all goalkeepers will learn the necessary techniques and tactics, through challenging and competitive training sessions.   Below are examples of the different types of pillars and building blocks that will go into a great week of youth camp.
Technical: Handling, Footwork, Distribution, Crosses, Breakaways and Shot Stopping
Tactical: Angel Play, Communication, Decision Making, Starting Positions, Reading Service and Restarts
Mental: Battling Adveristy, Training Culture, Leadership Qualities and Self Analysis
Physical: Warm-ups, Cool-downs, Flexibility and Coordination, Strength and Agility

The Elite Keeper Academy will meet every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Only for the 2 weeks. The Elite Keeper Academy will also incorporate classroom sessions. The classroom sessions will consist of video and tatical analysis. Elite Keeper Academy cost is $375.00 (Each Keeper will receive camp shirt and HPG Keeper Gloves).

Elite Girls Camp

The elite camp is offered for serious and advanced soccer players. The camp will place emphasis on preparing high level 13-18 year olds for play at the Academy level. All facets of the game will be covered ranging from advanced skills, poisiton play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Age specific skills, tactical approach and techniques required of defenders, midfielders and forwards are taught through drills and strategies consistent with the philosophy and goals of the camp.It is a comprehensive camp designed to provide the proper environment to learn, practice, play and have fun! This camp presents a sound, age appropriate technical base upon which to build a true love for the game of soccer. Staff will evaluate and work with each camper on an individual basis to assist them in technique and skill development.

Date: June 9th-13th 2014

Location: Town & Country Sports Complex, Wilder KY

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9-11am

Cost: $125 per player

High School Boys Camp

Overview: To provide each player the opportunity to train and play in an academy style training week. Each HS team will have two games per day with a set of final games on the last day. The camp will be a great way to strengthen relations between HS and Club systems as well as preparing each team for the HS season ahead. 

Date: July 10th-13th 2014

Location: Town & Country Sports Complex, Wilder KY

Schedule: Thursday 6-8pm, Friday 6-8pm, Saturday 6-8pm, Sunday 6-8pm

  • 1st hour will be technical instruction and small sided games, 2nd hour will be games against other HS teams
  • Each day will always start and finish with a dynamic warm up and end with a cool down
  • Staff coaches will work with director to oversee group training and instruction. Staff will then coach and officiate each game.
  • Final games on the last day of camp.

Cost: $100 per player; includes 4 days of camp, camp t-shirt and coach will receive a team evaluation/ feedback.

Striker School & Keeper Academy Summer Camps continue through July!

Striker School

The emphasis of this camp is on how to properly strike the soccer ball. The camp will be based on attacking methods which will teach every player to solve problems in all areas of the field through developing technical mastery as well as creativity. The cost is $125 per player.

Keeper Academy

Both Keeper Academy's are a week long and will be held at Town & Country on the outdoor turf field and are $165 per player.

All the Right Moves will be held on July 27th!

The emphasis of this camp will be on dribbling to dominate the player’s opponent. Players will learn moves to free themselves up when covered by an opponent. Some elements ofStriker School will be in place as players will constantly be attacking the goal with breakaway training. The cost is $125 per player.

Player Academy will be offered next on July 21st!

The emphasis of this camp is on a series of technical training sessions that are designed to meet the needs of your player’s level of play and individual abilities. This is a highly individual camp taught in an age group appropriate setting and addresses things not normally stressed during normal team training. Player Academy is only offered in the Summer. The cost is $125 per player.
